· · 2 min read

The Honda Elevate facelift has launched in India with a refreshed exterior, updated interior, and new features like a 360-degree camera. It retains the existing 1.5-litre petrol engine, with no hybrid option.

Honda Elevate Facelift Unveiled in India

The highly anticipated Honda Elevate facelift officially launched in the Indian market on October 6, 2026. India is the first global market to receive this updated mid-size SUV, as Honda aims to strengthen its competitive stance. The refreshed model introduces significant exterior and interior enhancements, along with new features, while maintaining its proven petrol engine.

Striking Exterior Redesign

The updated Elevate showcases a more contemporary and assertive presence. Its front profile has been completely redesigned, featuring a new grille and revised front and rear bumpers. The Honda logo has been subtly repositioned from the grille to the bonnet, contributing to a cleaner look. New connected LED light elements at both the front and rear provide a distinctive visual signature, enhancing the SUV's modern appeal. Additionally, expect to see redesigned alloy wheels and a new exterior color option.

Upgraded Cabin and Advanced Features

Inside, the Elevate facelift receives substantial upgrades to elevate the passenger experience. The cabin boasts a revised dashboard and an updated interior theme, complemented by ambient lighting for a premium feel. Key new features include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera for enhanced maneuverability, and an updated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package. Further additions comprise a lane-watch camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and rain-sensing wipers. Honda continues to prioritize safety with six airbags and existing advanced driver assistance features, bringing the Elevate in line with its feature-rich rivals in the mid-size SUV segment.

Retained Powertrain and Market Competition

Mechanically, the Honda Elevate facelift retains its reliable 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine delivers approximately 119bhp of power and 145Nm of peak torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) automatic. Notably, a hybrid powertrain option remains unavailable for this updated model. The Elevate facelift continues to compete fiercely against popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Tata Sierra.

Pre-Launch Offers on Outgoing Model

Ahead of the facelift's debut, Honda offered attractive benefits of up to Rs 2.35 lakh on the outgoing Elevate model. These incentives included cash discounts, exchange bonuses, loyalty benefits, and corporate schemes, valid until October 31, 2026. The previous generation Elevate was priced between Rs 11.88 lakh and Rs 16.36 lakh (ex-showroom).
