· · 2 min read

Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal's Gurugram luxury apartment, purchased for ₹52.3 crore in August 2022, is now valued at over ₹140 crore. The 10,813-sq-ft unit in DLF The Camellias has seen a nearly threefold appreciation amid booming premium real estate.

Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal's ultra-luxury apartment in Gurugram's exclusive DLF The Camellias has reportedly seen its value skyrocket to more than ₹140 crore, a nearly threefold increase since its acquisition in August 2022.

Goyal initially purchased the expansive 10,813-square-foot apartment directly from developer DLF for ₹52.3 crore. Situated in DLF Phase 5 along Golf Course Road, one of Gurugram's most sought-after addresses, the property is part of DLF’s ultra-luxury residential project known for its high-end amenities and prominent residents.

Significant Appreciation in Premium Real Estate

Property brokers estimate that a comparable apartment in The Camellias would now command upwards of ₹140 crore. This valuation reflects an astonishing increase of approximately ₹88 crore, or nearly 168%, over Goyal’s original purchase price. The surge highlights the robust demand and escalating prices within Gurugram’s premium residential market, particularly for large, branded developments located on Golf Course Road.

The conveyance deed for the property was registered in March 2025, with Goyal paying ₹3.66 crore in stamp duty for the transaction.

Inside the Ultra-Luxury Residence

The 10,813-square-foot unit is among the largest residences within DLF The Camellias, designed as a full-floor-style luxury apartment. It boasts panoramic views of the adjacent golf course and is characterized by its expansive living and dining areas, multiple bedrooms, high ceilings, and large windows that maximize natural light and offer stunning vistas.

Goyal's Broader Real Estate Investments

This Gurugram apartment is not Deepinder Goyal's only significant real estate holding. According to property registration documents, he also acquired two adjoining land parcels in Dera Mandi village, located in Delhi’s Mehrauli tehsil near Chhatarpur. These transactions, totaling approximately five acres, amounted to a combined ₹79 crore.

The first parcel, spanning 2.5 acres, was purchased for ₹29 crore in March 2023, incurring ₹1.74 crore in stamp duty. The second plot, measuring 2.53 acres, was acquired for ₹50 crore in September 2023, with stamp duty payments of ₹3.50 crore.
