A host of companies are scheduled to announce their March 2026 quarter results today, including Maruti Suzuki India, Eternal, Bandhan Bank, Canara HSBC Life Insurance, REC, Garden Reach Shipbuilders, Brigade Hotel Ventures, Castrol India, CEAT, Dalmia Bharat, Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, Fedbank Financial Services, Greenply Industries, Piramal Pharma, and Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts.

Coal India

The state-run coal mining giant reported a robust performance for the March 2026 quarter, with net profit surging 11.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 10,839.18 crore. Revenue also increased by 5.8 percent YoY, reaching Rs 46,490.03 crore. EBITDA grew 6.2 percent YoY to Rs 12,673.16 crore, maintaining healthy margins of 27.3 percent. The company declared a final dividend of Rs 5.25 per share.

Mahindra & Mahindra

The prominent Indian automaker has finalized the acquisition of an additional 28.03 percent stake in Carnot Technologies. This strategic move boosts M&M's total holding in Carnot to 80.72 percent, with collective voting rights increasing to 89 percent.

Trent

The board of Tata Group's retail arm, Trent, has set May 29 as the record date for the issuance of bonus equity shares in a 1:2 proportion.

Adani Total Gas

Adani Group's gas distribution entity saw its net profit rise 8.9 percent YoY to Rs 168.34 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Revenue climbed 16.6 percent YoY to Rs 1,694.61 crore. EBITDA stood at Rs 310 crore, supported by a 13 percent YoY increase in volumes to 297 MMSCM.

AU Small Finance Bank

For the January-March 2026 quarter, the private sector lender experienced a significant 65.2 percent YoY jump in net profit, reaching Rs 831.9 crore. Net Interest Income (NIIs) grew 23.3 percent YoY to Rs 2,582.3 crore, with Net Interest Margins (NIMs) at 5.96 percent. The bank also reported a decline in both gross and net Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and announced a final dividend of Re 1 per share.

RailTel Corporation of India

The state-owned railway telecommunications provider secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) valued at Rs 145.5 crore from Eastern Coalfields. This contract involves providing MPLS-VPN, internet leased line (ILL), video conferencing (VC), and managed bandwidth services (MBS).

Bajaj Housing Finance

The housing finance specialist posted a 14.1 percent YoY increase in net profit to Rs 669.2 crore. NIIs rose 15 percent YoY to Rs 945 crore, although NIMs contracted to 3.8 percent. Assets Under Management (AUM) expanded 23 percent YoY to Rs 1.4 lakh crore, and loan disbursements also grew 23 percent YoY to Rs 17,530 crore for the quarter.

Phoenix Mills

The real estate developer reported a 50 percent YoY surge in net profit to Rs 403 crore for the January-March 2026 quarter. Revenue increased 21.4 percent YoY to Rs 1,233.1 crore, and EBITDA grew 34 percent YoY to Rs 750 crore, with margins improving to 60 percent. A final dividend of Rs 2.50 per equity share was announced.

Samvardhana Motherson International

The automotive ancillary firm is set to acquire an additional 51 percent equity stake in Nissin Advanced Coating Indo Co (Nissin India) from Nissin Electric Co, Japan. This acquisition will bring Samvardhana Motherson International's total ownership in Nissin India to 100 percent.

Nippon Life India Asset Management

The mutual fund player recorded a 29 percent YoY rise in net profit to Rs 385 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Revenue grew 30.4 percent YoY to Rs 738.7 crore, and operating profit increased 39.3 percent YoY to Rs 493 crore. AUM expanded 18 percent YoY to Rs 7.73 lakh crore, and the company announced a dividend of Rs 12.50 per share.

Rossari Biotech

The specialty chemicals company reported a 33.43 percent YoY increase in net profit to Rs 46 crore, with revenue growing 18.2 percent YoY to Rs 684.8 crore for the March 2026 quarter. EBITDA rose 11 percent YoY to Rs 77.2 crore, and margins remained flat at 12 percent. A final dividend of 25 percent was announced.

Punjab & Sind Bank

The state-run bank reported a 35 percent YoY rise in net profit to Rs 421.8 crore for the March 2026 quarter. Net Interest Income (NIIs) grew 13.1 percent YoY to Rs 974.8 crore. While gross NPAs saw a decline, net NPAs experienced an increase.
