AvenuesAI Share Trading Suspended for Consolidation; Why Your Demat Account May Show Less

· · 2 min read

AvenuesAI's shares are temporarily suspended from trading since October 13, 2026, for a consolidation process. Investors will receive one new share for every ten held, potentially impacting their demat account visibility.

Trading in AvenuesAI shares, formerly known as Infibeam Avenues Ltd, has been suspended from Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This action comes as the company undertakes a significant consolidation of its equity shares, a move that may temporarily affect how investors view their holdings in demat accounts.

Understanding the Share Consolidation

Under the terms of the consolidation, eligible shareholders are set to receive one new equity share with a face value of Rs 10 for every ten existing shares they hold, each with a face value of Re 1. This corporate action, also known as a reverse stock split, reduces the total number of outstanding shares while proportionately increasing the face value and market price of each individual share.

Why Your Shares May Not Be Visible

During this procedural suspension, investors might find that their AvenuesAI shares are not visible in the 'active' section of their demat accounts, where securities are typically available for buying or selling. The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE) issued a circular on October 12, confirming the suspension of trading for AvenuesAI (listed under the symbol CCAVENUE) effective from October 13, following the close of trading on October 12.

It is important to note that this suspension does not mean the shares are no longer held. While they may be absent from the active trading view, their availability should still be reflected in the demat account statements. Investors are not required to take any personal action as the process is automated.

When Will Trading Resume?

Central Depository Services (India) Ltd has listed October 14, 2026, as the effective date for the consolidation. However, this date signifies the completion of the corporate action itself, not necessarily the confirmed date for the resumption of trading. Shareholders should closely monitor official notices from the NSE or BSE, as well as company filings, for updates regarding when trading will recommence.

Record Date and Shareholding

October 13 was also designated as the record date, meaning it was the cut-off for determining which shareholders were eligible to receive the consolidated shares. As of June 30, 2026, AvenuesAI had over 7.21 lakh investors holding approximately 72.27% of the company's equity shares, with promoters holding a 27.29% stake. The company's shares closed at Rs 13.81 on the Monday prior to suspension, with a market capitalization exceeding Rs 4,800 crore.
