The platform aims to become a secure, single digital entry point for Americans, replacing the need to navigate numerous agency websites. Essential services such as passport renewals and Medicare enrollment are expected to be integrated in the coming months. An accompanying Executive Order directs federal agencies serving over 100,000 users annually to migrate their public-facing operations to America.gov, though national security services and tax filing are excluded.

Asked about the 2020 presidential election, the chatbot stated,

Regarding climate change, the portal’s AI responded,
