Deepening India-Indonesia Strategic Partnership

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) highlighted the significance of PM Modi's visit, emphasizing its role in advancing the India-Indonesia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Established in 2018, this partnership is a cornerstone for cooperation across various priority sectors, fostering deep trust and shared values between the two nations.

Upon his arrival, Prime Minister Modi was personally received by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, underscoring the importance both countries place on their bilateral ties. A special ceremonial gesture saw Indonesian Air Force fighter jets escorting Modi's aircraft as it entered the country's airspace.
