Rescuers in Nepal have successfully located around 100 Indian visitors and 25 Chinese workers who were unaccounted for after a recent flash flood in the country's Rasuwa district. Hundreds Still Missing After Flash Flood
Despite these successful identifications, the Nepal Tourism Board provided an update on Thursday afternoon, confirming that at least 644 Nepali and foreign nationals are still officially listed as missing. These individuals hail from 33 different countries, underscoring the international impact of the natural calamity.
Among the foreign nationals, Indian citizens constitute the largest group still missing, with 178 individuals yet to be accounted for. Other significant numbers include 65 from the United States, 53 from Ukraine, 51 from Malaysia, and 35 from Australia. Additionally, 127 Nepali nationals are also on the missing persons list.
