Vivo X300 FE Price Hikes Again in India, Base Model Now Rs 10,000 More

· · 2 min read

The Vivo X300 FE smartphone has received its second price hike in India, increasing its base model cost by Rs 10,000 since launch. A new 8GB variant has also been introduced, priced higher than the original 12GB version.

Vivo has implemented a second price increase for its X300 FE smartphone in India, pushing the flagship device further into the premium segment. The base model now costs Rs 89,999, marking a significant Rs 10,000 rise from its original launch price. This adjustment comes amidst reports of rising memory costs and a global RAM shortage impacting smartphone brands.

Price Revisions and New Variant

The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the Vivo X300 FE, initially priced at Rs 79,999, now retails for Rs 89,999. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model, which launched at Rs 89,999, has also seen a similar increase and is now available for Rs 99,999, just shy of the Rs 1 lakh mark.

Adding a twist to the pricing strategy, Vivo has introduced a new 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. This model is priced at Rs 84,999. While it is Rs 5,000 cheaper than the current 12GB+256GB version, it is notably Rs 5,000 more expensive than what the original 12GB+256GB model cost at its launch.

Vivo X300 FE Key Specifications

Despite the price adjustments, the Vivo X300 FE continues to offer robust specifications:

  • Display: A vibrant 6.31-inch screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Processor: Powered by Qualcomm's high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
  • Battery: A substantial 6,500mAh battery, supporting 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
  • Cameras: A ZEISS-backed camera system featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

These latest revisions position the X300 FE firmly within India's high-end smartphone market, prompting potential buyers to consider if its features justify the elevated price point compared to its initial offering.
