Vivo X Fold 6 & V80 India Launch: Prices, Key Specs Revealed Ahead of October Debut

Vivo is set to launch the V80 on October 6 in India, with the X Fold 6 also expected to debut around the same time. Leaked European pricing suggests the X Fold 6 could start around ₹1.81 lakh, while the V80 may begin at ₹63,000, alongside detailed specifications.

Vivo is preparing for a significant expansion of its premium smartphone lineup in India this October, with two highly anticipated devices. The company has officially confirmed the launch of the Vivo V80 for October 6. Alongside this, the Vivo X Fold 6, which has already seen an international rollout after its China debut, is also expected to arrive in the Indian market.

Expected Pricing Details

Ahead of their official unveiling, potential pricing information for both smartphones has emerged. The Vivo X Fold 6 recently appeared on Italian retailer Etpo, listed at €2,038.90 including VAT, which translates to approximately ₹2.21 lakh. Without VAT, the price is €1,671.23, or about ₹1.81 lakh. It is important to note that these figures are not confirmed for the Indian market and may vary.

For the Vivo V80, a tipster has reportedly indicated a starting price of ₹63,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is expected to be priced around ₹70,000, and the top-tier 8GB + 512GB configuration could cost ₹80,000. Vivo has yet to confirm these India-specific prices.

Vivo X Fold 6: Anticipated Features

The Vivo X Fold 6 is poised to offer a premium foldable experience. It is expected to feature an expansive 8.02-inch AMOLED inner display with a resolution of 2504x2312 pixels and an impressive peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. Its durable hinge is reportedly rated for 600,000 folds. Under the hood, the device is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a robust camera setup, including a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 20MP front camera is also expected. Powering the device will be a 6,900mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The X Fold 6 is projected to run on Android 17 and come with IP58/IP59 protection for dust and water resistance. The Chinese variant features a slightly larger 7,000mAh battery.

Vivo V80: Key Specifications

The Vivo V80 is designed with a vibrant 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display, boasting a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. This device will feature a ZEISS-backed camera system, comprising a 50MP main camera, a 50MP Night Telephoto lens, and a 50MP Group Selfie camera, emphasizing advanced photographic capabilities.

Vivo has confirmed that the V80 will house a substantial 7,200mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging. It is expected to launch with Android 17, overlaid with Vivo's OriginOS 7, promising a modern and efficient user experience.
