Dina Powell McCormick, President and Vice Chair at Meta, echoed this sentiment, stating that President Trump's AI Executive Order “helps keep America in the lead on AI — encouraging innovation and taking security seriously.” She further expressed appreciation for the administration's support for public-private sector collaboration.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman commented that the order strikes “the balance right,” advocating for the U.S. to lead in AI development by ensuring safety and providing cyber tools to trusted defenders. Google's Kent Walker also reportedly described the new AI order as “an important step forward.”
