Spotify's 'Party of the Year(s)' Recap Reveals Your Full Listening History

· · 2 min read

Spotify marks its 20th anniversary with a new 'Party of the Year(s)' recap feature. Users can now explore their complete listening history, including first-ever streamed songs, top artists, and a personalized 120-song playlist.

Spotify is celebrating two decades of music streaming with a special limited-time feature, “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s).” This new recap allows users to dive deep into their personal listening journey, offering a nostalgic look back at their musical evolution.

Unlike the annual Wrapped feature, this anniversary recap provides a comprehensive overview of a user's entire history on the platform. It highlights key milestones such as the first day a user joined Spotify, the total number of unique songs they've streamed, and, notably, their very first streamed song. Users will also discover their all-time most-streamed artist.

Accessing Your Personalized Music Journey

To access the “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s)” feature, users can simply search for “Spotify 20” or “Party of the Year(s)” within the app. The feature is also prominently displayed on the Spotify app's home screen for easy access. Beyond individual statistics, the recap generates a custom playlist of the user’s top 120 songs over the years, which can be saved to their library for continued enjoyment.

Each personalized music insight is presented on a beautifully designed card, making it easy for users to share their unique listening journey with friends and followers across social media platforms like Instagram. Spotify stated that the experience “captures the moments that defined listeners' music journeys, and celebrates the artists and fans who have shaped Spotify and music culture over the past 20 years.”
