Nothing has launched its new Phone 4b, featuring a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a substantial 6000mAh battery, and the brand's unique Glyph bar. Positioned as a compelling mid-range option, it boasts a 6.77-inch AMOLED display and IP64 protection.

Nothing has expanded its smartphone lineup with the introduction of the Nothing Phone (4b), a new device entering the mid-range segment. This new 'b' series aims to offer a fresh blend of design, color options, and competitive pricing, making it an attractive choice for users seeking an upgrade.

Design and Display Innovations

The Nothing Phone (4b) draws design inspiration from the Phone (4a) Pro model, featuring a unibody polycarbonate rear panel. This panel is coated with a UV layer, designed to minimize fingerprints and maintain a clean aesthetic. A prominent expanded camera deco houses the dual camera setup, alongside the distinctive Glyph bar. This signature feature provides live updates for various processes, including charging status and countdowns, enhancing user interaction.

Durability is also a focus, with the Phone (4b) boasting an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. The device showcases a vibrant 6.77-inch rigid Samsung Super AMOLED display. Users can expect smooth visuals thanks to its 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and impressive clarity with up to 2000 nits of peak brightness.

Performance and Power

Under the hood, the Nothing Phone (4b) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, complemented by an Adreno 810 GPU and a Hexagon NPU for efficient AI processing. The phone is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, providing ample space and responsive multitasking capabilities.

A significant highlight is the robust 6000mAh battery, ensuring extended usage throughout the day. This large battery supports 33W fast charging, allowing for quick power top-ups. Running on Nothing OS 4.1, the Phone (4b) integrates a suite of AI-powered features, including essential AI tools designed to enhance the user experience.

Camera Capabilities

For photography enthusiasts, the Nothing Phone (4b) comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. This includes a high-resolution 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. The system benefits from TrueLens Engine 4 features, which leverage AI algorithms to optimize image quality. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera is available for clear self-portraits and video calls.

Pricing and Availability in India

The Nothing Phone (4b) is available in India with a starting price of Rs 34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. A higher storage option, the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant, is priced at Rs 33,699. This pricing positions the 'b' series as a more accessible entry-level option compared to previous models like the Phone (4a), which launched at Rs 38,999.
