Motorola has unveiled its latest product lineup at IFA 2026, introducing the Motorola Edge 70 Plus smartphone, the Moto Watch Ultra smartwatch, and the innovative Moto Snap wireless charger. This collection highlights advancements in smartphone photography, connected health tracking, and magnetic wireless charging technology, targeting users in select global markets.
Motorola Edge 70 Plus: Photography and Performance
The new Motorola Edge 70 Plus is designed with a strong emphasis on mobile photography. It features a powerful 200MP main camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), offering 10x Super Zoom capabilities and 4K video recording. The device also includes a dedicated macro camera and a 32MP selfie camera, which benefits from AI optimization, a Group Mode, and Adaptive Stabilization for clearer shots. Its 6.78-inch 144Hz Extreme AMOLED display offers vibrant visuals, complemented by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support. Under the hood, the device runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. Performance is further boosted by RAM Boost technology and vapor-chamber cooling. AI capabilities are integrated through Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
Moto Watch Ultra: Advanced Wellness Tracking
Motorola's new Moto Watch Ultra is a Wear OS-powered smartwatch focused on comprehensive health and wellness tracking. It leverages insights from Polar to monitor various metrics including sleep, stress levels, activity, calorie expenditure, and running performance. Key features include Serene for mindfulness, Nightly Recharge for recovery analysis, Sleep Plus Stages for detailed sleep tracking, and tools like Activity Goal, Activity Score, and Active Intensity Zones to encourage physical activity.
The Moto Watch Ultra supports LTE eSIM for standalone calls and messages, Google Pay for contactless payments, dual-band GPS, and access to Google Play apps. It features a bright 1.5-inch 2700-nit OLED display housed within a 46mm stainless-steel body. The watch offers IP68 and 5ATM water and dust protection, Gorilla Glass 3 for durability, and accommodates interchangeable 22mm bands. Battery life is rated at two days, with a quick 15-minute charge providing 24 hours of use.
Moto Snap Wireless Charger: Efficient and Magnetic
Completing the new lineup is the Moto Snap wireless charger, designed for convenience and efficiency. It supports wireless charging speeds of up to 25W for Qi2.2 compatible devices and up to 30W for specific Motorola devices. The charger features magnetic alignment for easy placement, cooler charging operation, and zero standby power consumption. It also incorporates overheat and overcharge protection, comes with a 1.5m braided USB-C cable, and is compatible with magnetic cases.
Market Availability
The Motorola Edge 70 Plus is slated for release in select markets across Europe and the Middle East. The Moto Watch Ultra will be available starting at €429, and the Moto Snap wireless charger at €39. Both accessories will launch in various regions globally.
