Dream Sports, the conglomerate behind the popular fantasy sports platform Dream11, has officially launched DreamStreet, a new-age stock broking platform. Unveiled on May 5, 2026, DreamStreet is specifically designed to engage and empower first-time retail investors across India.
Simplified Investing with AI and Expert Guidance
The platform initially provides users with the ability to invest in stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). DreamStreet has announced plans to integrate futures and options (F&O) trading and initial public offerings (IPOs) in the coming weeks, expanding its investment offerings.
A key feature of DreamStreet is its integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and data-driven insights. These technologies are complemented by access to SEBI-registered research analysts and investment advisers, aiming to help users make more informed investment decisions. An in-built assistant named “Veda” also provides insights and analysis to further guide investors.
Tapping into India's Growing Retail Investor Market
Rahul Mirchandani, co-founder and chief executive officer of DreamStreet, highlighted the significant opportunity in India's financial markets. “India's demographic tailwinds—rising disposable incomes, growing financial literacy, and rapid smartphone adoption—are creating a generational opportunity for new retail participation in financial markets,” Mirchandani stated.
Despite a recent surge in demat account openings, a substantial number of potential investors remain hesitant due to a perceived lack of clarity and confidence in investing. DreamStreet aims to bridge this gap by simplifying the complex world of finance, enabling more Indians to participate in the country's economic growth story.
User-Friendly Features for New Investors
DreamStreet emphasizes a seamless user experience, offering a fully digital account opening process and transparent fee structures. The platform incorporates various tools specifically designed to reduce friction and build confidence for new investors entering the market. By providing expert stock recommendations and AI-enabled information, DreamStreet seeks to demystify investing and make it more accessible.
