CMF by Nothing, the sub-brand of Nothing, has expanded its audio portfolio with the global debut of two new portable wireless speakers: the CMF Speaker S and CMF Speaker M. The launch, confirmed via an X post by CMF, took place on October 12, 2026, introducing devices that blend distinctive aesthetics with expected affordability.
CMF Speakers: What We Know
Both new speakers were previously identified through FCC listings, which provided early insights into their technical specifications. While a global release is confirmed, the availability and launch date for the Indian market remain uncertain at this time.
CMF Speaker S Details
The CMF Speaker S, identified by model number E494 in FCC filings, is expected to feature a unique carton-shaped design. It will come with a convenient carry handle and a matte Carbon Black finish, aligning with CMF's minimalist aesthetic. Internally, the Speaker S is anticipated to house a 40mm full-range driver complemented by a passive bass radiator, collectively delivering a 12W RMS output and 360-degree sound. Connectivity will be handled by Bluetooth 5.4, and the device is projected to offer IP54 splash resistance. Powering the unit is a 2,500mAh battery, promising up to 18 hours of continuous playback.
CMF Speaker M Details
Accompanying the Speaker S is the CMF Speaker M, bearing the model number E495. This model is rumored to sport a 'milk carton-like' design, also featuring a carry handle for portability. A distinctive orange physical volume knob is expected to add a tactile element to its user interface. The Speaker M is believed to incorporate dual drivers, providing a total output of 12W, alongside a dedicated bass boost feature for enhanced low-end audio. Similar to its counterpart, it is expected to support Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless wireless connections and offer IP54 splash resistance. Battery life is projected to be comparable to that of the Speaker S.
While official pricing and all specifications are yet to be fully detailed by CMF, the brand's established identity suggests these new Bluetooth speakers will offer a compelling, feature-rich, and budget-friendly option for consumers seeking quality portable audio devices.
