CMF Buds Neo Arrive in India with Advanced Features
CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of the CMF Buds Neo. These new Truly Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds are positioned as an accessible entry point into the CMF ecosystem, combining distinctive design with advanced audio capabilities for everyday users.
Key Features and Audio Performance
The CMF Buds Neo boast up to 35 dB of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), allowing users to immerse themselves in their audio by reducing ambient distractions. The earbuds also feature Adaptive ANC, which automatically adjusts noise cancellation levels based on the surrounding environment. For clear communication, four HD microphones, two on each earbud, utilize Clear Voice Technology to ensure crisp call quality even in noisy outdoor or travel settings.
Audio fidelity is driven by 12.4mm dynamic drivers, engineered to deliver deep bass. A titanium-coated PET dome enhances vocal clarity and detail, while a PEEK + PU surround enables greater driver movement for a richer sound. Users can customize their listening experience with six professionally tuned EQ presets, including Pop, Rock, Electronic, Classical, and Enhance Vocals. The Nothing X app further allows for personalized Custom EQ profiles and selectable Bass Enhancement levels.
Battery Life and Connectivity
One of the standout features of the CMF Buds Neo is their impressive battery life. The earbuds offer up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC off. When combined with the charging case, the total listening time extends to an exceptional 52 hours. With ANC activated, users can still enjoy up to 30 hours of total playback. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to 5.5 hours of additional listening, powered by a 45mAh battery in each earbud and a 460mAh battery in the case, fully rechargeable via USB-C in about 70 minutes.
Connectivity options include 120ms low-latency gaming mode, dual-device connection for seamless switching, and customizable touch controls. The earbuds support Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair for quick setup, and feature Bluetooth 6.0 compatibility with Android 6.0+ and iOS 13+ devices.
Design and Availability
True to CMF's design philosophy, the Buds Neo feature a distinctive square charging case with a tactile circular dial and contrasting two-tone color schemes. A built-in lanyard hole adds practicality for portability. The earbuds will be available in three color options: Black, White, and Dark Blue.
The CMF Buds Neo will be available for purchase in India starting August 26. They are offered at an exclusive launch price of ₹1,999 and can be purchased through major retailers including Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.
