Following its "Surprise and Shine" event, Apple has announced a substantial price revision for several of its popular iPhone models in India. Consumers looking to purchase devices like the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17e, and even the previous generation iPhone 16 will now face higher costs.
The most notable adjustment affects the iPhone 17, which has seen its price surge by Rs 17,000, bringing its new retail price to Rs 99,900. The premium iPhone Air model is also significantly more expensive, now retailing at Rs 149,900. Apple's more budget-friendly offering, the iPhone 17e, has also been impacted, with its price increasing to Rs 79,900.
Older Models Also See Price Increases
The price adjustments aren't limited to the latest generations. Even the iPhone 16, a model from the preceding year, has received a price hike, now available for Rs 89,900. These changes were implemented across all storage variants on Apple's official online store shortly after the company's recent product launch event.
During the same event, Apple unveiled its new flagship iPhone 18 Pro series, featuring the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Additionally, the company introduced its first-ever foldable device, the innovative iPhone Duo. While these new products bring advancements in performance and camera technology, the price revisions for existing models will certainly affect consumer purchasing decisions in the Indian market.
