Yash's Ravana Attire Detailed
The display featured an elaborate black and gold ensemble, designed as battle armor. This intricate costume included a grand crown, a gold breastplate, pronounced shoulder pads, arm bands, cuffs, and a detailed dhoti, presenting a formidable appearance for the antagonist. Costumes for Ranbir Kapoor's Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi's Sita were also exhibited. Kapoor's attire included a blue dhoti, a maroon and gold shawl, a large gold crown, and elaborate jewelry. Yash Confirms Separate Storylines for Part One
In an interview with Fandango, Yash, who plays Ravana, made a surprising clarification regarding his on-screen dynamic with co-star Ranbir Kapoor. He stated, "Interestingly we both have never come together on screen in this film. As you all know, it's a two-part film, so in the first part, as Ravana, I have my own kingdom and Rama has his own kingdom."
Despite not sharing screen time in the initial installment, Yash expressed high regard for Kapoor, calling him a "fabulous actor." He emphasized the mutual respect and aligned vision among the cast and crew, all focused on delivering a phenomenal cinematic experience for 'Ramayana'.
Release Schedule
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Ramayana' is planned as a two-part epic. 'Ramayana: Part One' is slated for release during Diwali 2026, with 'Part Two' scheduled to follow in Diwali 2027.
