Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were conspicuously absent from the state funeral of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, held on Monday at Shivaji Park Crematorium in Mumbai. While family, friends, film personalities, and politicians gathered to pay their last respects, the two superstars, known for their close ties with Bhosle, did not attend.
According to a report from Deccan Chronicle, both Shah Rukh and Salman Khan were in Mumbai at the time of the funeral but allegedly opted not to attend due to “security reasons.” Although no official statements were issued by either actor's representatives, the report indicates that the decision stemmed from concerns regarding crowd management and overall safety at the high-profile event.
