Remembering Nandana's Life and Tragic Loss
Nandana was born in 2002 after many years of anticipation for KS Chithra and her husband, Vijay Shankar. She was a special child, born with Down syndrome, and was their cherished first child. Tragically, in 2011, Nandana passed away at the tender age of eight. Her death occurred due to an accidental drowning in the swimming pool at their residence in Dubai, a devastating event that took place while Chithra was in the UAE for a musical engagement.
