· · 2 min read

Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has achieved a blockbuster start, earning ₹115.50 crore net in India within two days. The thriller marks Devgn's career-best opening and is one of 2026's biggest Hindi film openers.

Ajay Devgn's latest thriller, Drishyam: The Conclusion, has made an impressive debut at the box office, raking in ₹115.50 crore net in India within its first two days. The film's strong performance positions it as one of the biggest Hindi film openers of 2026.

Record-Breaking Domestic Performance

The film opened to a staggering ₹62 crore net on its first day, followed by a robust ₹53.50 crore net on its second day. Despite a slight 13.7 percent drop from Friday, this is considered a healthy hold, especially for a major holiday release. Audience turnout has been significant, with a cumulative 45.02 lakh footfalls recorded across centers in the initial two days.

Global Box Office Success

Beyond domestic shores, Drishyam: The Conclusion has also performed exceptionally well globally. Its worldwide gross stands at an impressive ₹177.10 crore after two days. This includes ₹138.60 crore from the Indian market and ₹38.50 crore from overseas territories. The film was screened across 32,627 shows during its opening weekend.

Ajay Devgn's Career Milestone

The film's opening day collection of ₹62.03 crore net in India marks a new career high for lead actor Ajay Devgn. It comfortably surpassed his previous best, Singham Again (2024), which had an opening day collection of ₹43.70 crore. This latest success outpaced his earlier hits like Singham Returns, Golmaal Again, and Total Dhamaal by a significant margin.

Outlook for the Extended Weekend

With a strong start already established, Drishyam: The Conclusion is now poised for a massive extended opening weekend. Industry analysts anticipate that consistent performance on Sunday and a robust first-week total could propel the film further up the 2026 box office charts. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran, concluding the popular Drishyam franchise.
