Ajay Devgn's comedy 'Dhamaal 4' has grossed over ₹124 crore worldwide in its first six days since its July 10 release. The film maintained steady collections through the weekday slump, nearing the ₹150 crore global mark.

Ajay Devgn's latest comedy, 'Dhamaal 4', is continuing its impressive theatrical run, having grossed over ₹124 crore worldwide within just six days of its release. The film, directed by Indra Kumar, has demonstrated strong resilience at the box office, maintaining steady collections even through the typical weekday slump.

Strong Opening Weekend Sets the Stage

Released on July 10, 'Dhamaal 4' kicked off its box office journey with a robust ₹14 crore on its opening day. The momentum significantly picked up over the weekend, with collections soaring to ₹22.5 crore on Saturday and peaking at ₹28.5 crore on Sunday. This strong initial performance laid a solid foundation for its continued success.

Weekday Collections Hold Firm

Despite the expected dip on Monday following the weekend surge, 'Dhamaal 4' has managed to hold its ground remarkably well. On its sixth day (Wednesday), the film garnered an estimated ₹9.50 crore net in India, bringing its total domestic net collection to approximately ₹89.75 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film's India gross stands at around ₹108 crore, with overseas earnings pushing its global gross beyond the ₹124 crore mark.

Audience Engagement and Occupancy

The film recorded an overall 12.98% Hindi occupancy on Wednesday. Metro cities played a crucial role in sustaining its weekday performance, with evening and night shows showing significantly better turnout. Chennai led the occupancy charts with 22.50%, followed by Bengaluru (18.75%), Pune (17.50%), Hyderabad (17.25%), Mumbai (16.75%), and Delhi-NCR (14.50%). This consistent footfall, especially from family audiences, coupled with positive word-of-mouth, has been instrumental in its steady run.

A Beloved Franchise Returns

The latest installment of the 'Dhamaal' franchise reunites Ajay Devgn with fan-favorite actors Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Sanjay Mishra. Their collective comedic timing and the series' signature slapstick humor and adventurous plotlines have once again resonated with audiences, reaffirming the franchise's enduring popularity.

Outlook: Nearing the ₹100 Crore India Mark

Trade analysts are optimistic about 'Dhamaal 4's continued performance. With limited direct competition at the box office and another weekend fast approaching, the film is widely expected to enter the coveted ₹100 crore club in India within the next couple of days. The upcoming weekend is anticipated to bring another significant jump in collections, further solidifying its successful theatrical run.
