Television actor Avinash Mishra has emerged victorious in the 15th season of the popular stunt reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. Mishra defeated fellow finalists Rithvik Dhanjani and Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, in a high-octane grand finale.
The Grand Finale Challenge
The decisive finale, which aired on Sunday, October 4, saw the top contestants face a demanding helicopter-to-water stunt. Avinash Mishra completed the multi-part challenge—involving a jump from a helicopter, a jet ski ride, swimming to an endpoint, and a concluding blast—faster than his competitors, solidifying his position as the season's strongest performer.
What the Champion Won
For his triumph, Avinash Mishra received the prestigious Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 trophy, a cash prize of ₹20 lakh, and a brand-new Maruti Suzuki Swift. His winner's package also included an exciting trip to Europe and a bike. Rithvik Dhanjani secured the first runner-up position, with Orry finishing as the second runner-up.
Mishra's Journey to Victory
Mishra's win marks the culmination of a strong run throughout the season, where he consistently demonstrated resilience and skill, progressing from a fresh challenger to the ultimate champion. The finale initially featured five contestants: Avinash Mishra, Rithvik Dhanjani, Orry, Karan Wahi, and Farrhana Bhatt. Karan and Farrhana were eliminated after earlier tasks, setting the stage for the final showdown.
Rohit Shetty's Show: "Darr Ka Naya Daur"
Hosted by renowned action filmmaker Rohit Shetty, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 embraced its theme, "Darr Ka Naya Daur" (A New Era of Fear), pushing contestants through a series of physically demanding and adrenaline-pumping stunts. Shetty's guidance and challenges define the show's intense nature.
Avinash Mishra now joins an elite list of past winners, including Karishma Tanna (Season 10), Arjun Bijlani (Season 11), Tushar Kalia (Season 12), and Dino James (Season 13). His victory follows a previous appearance on Bigg Boss 18, where he was the third runner-up, further cementing his presence in Indian reality television.
