American Depository Receipts (ADRs) of Wipro Ltd saw a significant climb, rising as much as 7% in pre-market trading on the NYSE. The surge followed Wipro's announcement of an expanded strategic partnership with Google Cloud, focused on accelerating the enterprise-wide adoption of Gemini Enterprise and advanced agentic AI capabilities.

The announcement, made after domestic market hours, detailed how Wipro plans to leverage Google Cloud's AI platform. Wipro's ADRs were later trading up 4.92% at $1.92, maintaining a strong performance.

Accelerating Enterprise AI Transformation

Under its 'Operate Better with AI' strategy and 'Client Zero' approach, Wipro has deployed Gemini Enterprise as its central agentic orchestration platform. This initiative is designed to empower over 10,000 AI-certified specialists, including 1,500 Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), with advanced AI tools. The goal is to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and accelerate decision-making across client enterprises.

Introducing the LIFT Framework

As part of the expanded Google Cloud AI partnership, Wipro has launched the LIFT (Launch-Ignite-Flywheel-Transform) framework. This framework is engineered to assist enterprises in accelerating their AI transformation journeys and operationalizing agentic AI at scale. Powered by Wipro Intelligence, the LIFT framework seamlessly integrates Gemini Enterprise with Wipro's proprietary AI-driven delivery platforms, WINGS and WEGA.

Wipro stated that this unified ecosystem will enable organizations to transition from basic task automation to embedding secure, autonomous AI agents directly into their core, multi-step business workflows. This signifies a fundamental shift in how enterprises can leverage AI for operational efficiency and innovation.

Kanwar Singh, Managing Partner and Global Head of Technology Services at Wipro Limited, emphasized the strategic importance of AI. "AI is foundational to how Wipro is shaping its future, driving innovation, transforming operations, and delivering differentiated value for our clients," Singh commented. "By strengthening Wipro Intelligence with Gemini Enterprise, we are embedding intelligence into everyday core operations, helping clients scale outcomes, adapt faster, and compete more effectively."

Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, echoed this sentiment. The strong demand for Gemini Enterprise indicates the value it is adding for customers today," Ichhpurani noted.

To further accelerate value creation, Wipro is establishing a dedicated team of more than 1,500 certified FDEs. This team will combine Google Cloud's specialized expertise with Wipro's extensive consulting and engineering capabilities, aiming to scale AI adoption from pilot projects to full enterprise-wide deployment.

Real-World AI Applications
