Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli and acclaimed Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma have added a significant new asset to their luxury property empire. The power couple recently finalized the purchase of a high-end apartment in Mumbai's bustling Versova area for ₹18.29 crore.
Details of the Mumbai Property
The newly acquired residence is situated within Godrej Skyshore, a premium residential development in Andheri West. According to property documents reviewed by Zapkey and reported by Economic Times, the apartment spans 2,644 square feet and includes an additional exclusive area of 316 square feet. The luxury unit also comes with three dedicated parking spaces, a highly sought-after amenity in Mumbai.
Expanding Real Estate Portfolio
This latest Mumbai acquisition marks another notable addition to Kohli and Sharma's growing collection of prime real estate across India. Their diverse property holdings include:
- Gurugram Mansion: Kohli owns a sprawling 10,000 sq ft residence in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram, valued at approximately ₹80 crore. This property reportedly boasts premium amenities such as a private swimming pool and a gym.
- Alibaug Investments: The couple has made substantial investments in Alibaug, a popular coastal town near Mumbai. In January 2026, they acquired over five acres of land in Zirad village near Awas Beach for around ₹37.86 crore. This transaction involved two adjoining plots totaling nearly 21,010 square meters. Prior to this, in 2022, they purchased an eight-acre plot in Alibaug for approximately ₹19 crore, on which they subsequently developed a luxury villa featuring a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a customized kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, landscaped gardens, covered parking, and staff quarters.
A Noteworthy Cancelled Deal
Not all of Kohli's property ventures have come to fruition. In 2016, reports indicated that the cricketer had booked a sea-facing apartment in Worli. The expansive 7,171 sq ft four-bedroom residence, located on the 35th floor, was priced at around ₹34 crore. However, Kohli later cancelled the booking, making it one of the most talked-about celebrity property deals that ultimately did not materialize.
