Eligible shareholders will receive an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share. The total cumulative payout for this second interim dividend is substantial, amounting to Rs 4,341.70 crore. A significant portion of this, Rs 3,114.6 crore, will go to its parent entity, Tata Sons Ltd., which holds a 71.75 percent stake in TCS.
Retail shareholders, comprising over 25.50 lakh individuals who collectively own about 18.8 crore equity shares (5.19 percent stake), are set to receive approximately Rs 225.6 crore from this distribution.

Strong Q2 Financial Performance

The company saw a 15 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit, reaching Rs 13,884 crore. Revenue from operations also grew by 11 percent YoY, totaling Rs 65,799 crore. Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) stood at Rs 17,553 crore, with margins maintaining at 24 percent for the quarter. The total contract value secured during the quarter was pegged at an impressive $9.6 billion.
