This analysis compares returns delivered by the 11 pension fund managers across different NPS schemes and investment horizons.
Top Performers in NPS Equity Scheme (Scheme E)
Scheme E, which primarily invests in equities and carries higher market exposure, saw Tata Pension Management record the highest returns across several key periods:
- One-Year: Tata Pension Management led with 13.84%.
- Three-Years: Tata Pension Management topped with 17.89%.
- Since Inception: Tata Pension Management delivered an impressive 15.46%.
For other longer durations, different fund managers took the lead:
- Five-Years: Kotak Pension Fund was the top performer with 16.53%.
- Seven-Years: Kotak Pension Fund led with 15.64%.
- Ten-Years: HDFC Pension Management recorded the highest return at 14.83%.
Other notable performers in Scheme E for the five-year period included ICICI Prudential (16.40%) and HDFC (15.58%).
