"Spider-Man: Brand New Day," starring Tom Holland, continues its remarkable theatrical run in India, having collected an impressive ₹443.57 crore net and ₹530.28 crore gross as it moves into its third week. The superhero blockbuster, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, was released on July 30, 2026, and has already shattered several records in the Indian market.

Record-Breaking Performance

The film has solidified its position as one of the biggest Hollywood releases in India, surpassing "Avatar: The Way of Water" to become the highest-grossing Hollywood film in the region, according to Sacnilk's tracking data. Its strong performance included a robust second week, where it added ₹108.65 crore net, bringing its total to ₹443.40 crore before the latest updates.

Weekend collections have been particularly strong, with the film earning ₹31 crore on its second Saturday and ₹34.70 crore on its second Sunday. Despite an expected slowdown during weekdays, daily collections remained steady, contributing significantly to its overall gross.

Language Contributions and Future Prospects

The English version of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" remains the primary revenue driver, contributing ₹241.84 crore to the net collection. The Hindi version has also performed exceptionally well, adding ₹160.98 crore, underscoring the widespread appeal of the Marvel franchise across diverse Indian audiences. Tamil and Telugu versions have collected ₹23.50 crore and ₹16.45 crore, respectively, with Malayalam and Kannada versions adding smaller but notable contributions.

Industry analysts anticipate a further boost in collections during the upcoming Independence Day weekend. Increased holiday footfall is expected to drive theatre occupancy, potentially helping the film inch closer to the ₹550 crore India gross milestone.

Star-Studded Cast

The film features a stellar cast including Tom Holland as Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, and Jon Bernthal in pivotal roles, contributing to its critical and commercial success.
