Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' starring Tom Holland, has achieved a ₹336.91 crore gross in India after five days. Despite a 69.4% drop in daily earnings on Monday, the film is poised to reach the ₹350 crore milestone soon.

The latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man series, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' continues its impressive run at the Indian box office. After five days, the action-packed film, featuring Tom Holland and Zendaya, has amassed a total gross collection of ₹336.91 crore in India, according to film trade analysts.

India Box Office Performance

Despite a significant weekday slump, with Monday's earnings dropping by 69.4% compared to the previous day, the film is rapidly approaching the ₹350 crore gross mark. Its daily collections in India were:

  • First Thursday: ₹60.60 crore
  • First Friday: ₹49.35 crore
  • First Saturday: ₹70.25 crore
  • First Sunday: ₹77.75 crore
  • First Monday: ₹23.80 crore

This brings the film's cumulative India net collection to ₹281.75 crore. The English language shows contributed ₹12.50 crore on Monday, while Hindi shows garnered ₹8.75 crore. Tamil and Telugu versions added ₹1.50 crore and ₹1 crore respectively.

Global Success and Milestones

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has not only dominated the Indian market but has also made a substantial impact worldwide. Globally, the film has grossed an estimated ₹9,550 crore (equivalent to $1-1.15 billion). Overseas markets alone accounted for ₹5,700 crore of this total. With limited competition in the coming weeks and sustained audience interest, industry experts predict the film could surpass the $1.5 billion mark globally.

The film now stands among an elite group of blockbusters that have crossed the ₹300 crore gross milestone in India within their first four days, joining titles like 'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' 'KGF: Chapter 2,' 'Baahubali 2,' 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' 'RRR,' 'Kalki 2898 AD,' and 'Jawan.'
