Solar Industries reported a net profit of Rs 653 crore for the first quarter, marking a substantial 93% increase compared to the previous year and significantly surpassing Bloomberg's analyst consensus estimate of Rs 519 crore. Revenue also saw a strong rise, climbing 71% to Rs 3,670 crore, well above the estimated Rs 2,995 crore.
Operational performance was equally impressive, with EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) surging 82% to Rs 1,024 crore from Rs 564 crore in the year-ago quarter.
