Sedemac's Market Position and Growth
Sedemac Mechatronics boasts over 15 years of operational experience in the specialized field of electronic controllers. These controllers are crucial for powertrain engines and various non-automotive applications, including gensets. The company's strong technological foundation, supported by a highly qualified promoter team, contributes significantly to its client retention and new client acquisition strategies.
ICRA recently revised its outlook on Sedemac from 'Stable' to 'Positive' this month, citing the company's notable increase in operational scale during FY25 and FY26. Sedemac demonstrated revenue growth of 24 percent and 61 percent in these respective fiscal years, a momentum ICRA expects to continue.
Strategic Diversification and Product Portfolio
The rating agency highlighted Sedemac's efforts over the past two years to enhance product and customer diversification. This includes introducing new products and bringing new clients on board. The company has shown robust revenue growth, achieving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 34.5 percent between FY2021 and FY2026.
This growth has been primarily driven by the increasing adoption of its flagship sensor-less integrated starter generator (ISG) among domestic two/three-wheeler (2/3W) original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Sedemac has also expanded its product offerings to include other electronics-based solutions such as electronic fuel injectors (EFI), motor control units (MCU), and genset controllers (GCU), further diversifying its portfolio.
