SBI Funds Management Set for Market Debut

SBI Funds Management is slated to make its stock market debut today, July 21. The mutual fund major successfully concluded its Initial Public Offering (IPO), raising a substantial ₹9,813 crore. The IPO, which ran from July 14-16, was priced at ₹574 per share with a lot size of 26 equity shares. The issue saw robust demand, being oversubscribed 41.66 times and attracting bids worth nearly ₹3 lakh crore.

Alpine Texworld Also Debuts

Another company embarking on its stock market journey today is Alpine Texworld, a manufacturer of dyeing and processing fabrics. The company's maiden stake sale, conducted between July 14-16, raised ₹126 crore. Shares were offered at ₹105 apiece, with a lot size of 142 equity shares. The IPO was subscribed 1.4 times.

IndiGo Parent Secures Record Engine Order

InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, has announced a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CFM International. This agreement involves an order for more than 1,000 LEAP-1A engines, which will power 510 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft. This marks the largest single order ever placed for LEAP engines and a new record for CFM International.

Paytm Reports Strong Q1 Performance

One97 Communications, the parent entity of Paytm, reported impressive financial results for the quarter ended June 2026. The company’s net profit surged by 79 percent year-over-year to ₹220 crore, while revenue from operations increased 28 percent year-over-year, reaching ₹2,448 crore. EBITDA also saw a healthy rise of 54 percent year-over-year to ₹203 crore. Additionally, Paytm's board approved an investment of up to ₹100 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Paytm Money, through a rights issue.

Ather Energy Raises ₹1,300 Crore via QIP

Electric vehicle manufacturer Ather Energy has successfully closed its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), raising ₹1,300 crore. The board approved the issuance and allotment of 1.08 crore equity shares, each with a face value of ₹1, at a price of ₹1,202. This pricing represents a 2.8 percent premium over its previous share price of ₹1,169.70.

Sobha Sees Nearly Four-Fold Profit Jump

Real estate developer Sobha announced a significant boost in its consolidated net profit, which jumped nearly four-fold to ₹50.8 crore for the June 2026 quarter. Revenue from operations also saw a robust increase of 50 percent year-over-year, reaching ₹1,278.2 crore. EBITDA more than tripled to ₹77.8 crore, with margins improving to 6.1 percent. The company's board has also approved the issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) worth ₹1,000 crore.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Gains CDSCO Approval

Drugmaker Emcure Pharmaceuticals has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) for its co-marketed brand, Poviztra. The approval is for the treatment of non-cirrhotic metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) in adults experiencing moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (F2-F3).

Canara HSBC Life Insurance Reports Solid Growth

Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company posted strong results for the June 2026 quarter, with net profit rising 20.2 percent year-over-year to ₹28.1 crore. Net premium income climbed 23.8 percent year-over-year to ₹2,047.5 crore, and net commission income increased 21.8 percent year-over-year to ₹117.2 crore.
