Renault India has introduced significant updates to its popular Kiger compact SUV, rolling out new variants and making its turbocharged models more accessible. The Kiger Turbo range now begins at an attractive ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with the launch of the new Evolution+ trim, a strategic move to bolster its position in the fiercely competitive entry B-SUV segment.
New Evolution+ Trim Boosts Features and Value
The newly launched Evolution+ trim, available across naturally aspirated manual, AMT, and turbo-manual variants, brings a host of premium features designed to enhance the ownership experience. Buyers can now enjoy a Smart Access Card with Push Start/Stop, automatic climate control, wireless smartphone replication, driver seat height adjustment, and refined embossed fabric upholstery.
In addition to the Evolution+ trim, Renault has also expanded its turbo-powered portfolio from three to five variants. The Techno Turbo trim is now offered with a 5-speed manual transmission, providing an even more affordable entry point for customers seeking turbocharged performance.

Expanded Range and Powertrain Options
The naturally aspirated Kiger range has also seen an expansion, growing from six to eight variants. This revised lineup offers a wider spread across various price points, giving customers more flexibility to choose combinations of features, transmissions, and powertrains that best suit their needs.
The Kiger continues to be powered by two robust engine options: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The turbo motor delivers a strong 100 PS and is available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or Renault's X-Tronic CVT automatic.
Revised Pricing Structure
- Naturally Aspirated Range: Starts at ₹5.81 lakh for the Authentic manual variant.
- Turbo Range: Begins at ₹7.89 lakh for the Evolution+ manual trim.
- Top-Spec Turbo CVT: The Emotion variant is priced at ₹10.35 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
This strategic update comes as automakers intensify their competition in the sub-4-meter SUV segment, where feature-rich variants and value-led pricing are increasingly becoming key factors in consumer purchasing decisions.
