Purple Style Labs IPO Opens August 31: Price Band, Lot Size & Key Investor Details

Luxury fashion platform Purple Style Labs, operator of Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, is launching its Rs 680-crore IPO from August 31 to September 2. The price band is set at Rs 546-575 per share, with anchor investors bidding on August 28.

Purple Style Labs IPO Details Unveiled

Mumbai-based Purple Style Labs, the company behind the multi-brand luxury fashion platform Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, has announced the price band for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The offering, valued at Rs 680 crore, will open for public subscription on August 31, 2026, and conclude on September 2, 2026. The price for each share has been set between Rs 546 and Rs 575.

Ahead of the main subscription period, the anchor book for institutional investors will open for one day on August 28, 2026. The entire issue comprises a fresh issue of shares, and at the upper end of the price band, Purple Style Labs is targeting a market capitalization of Rs 4,603.5 crore.

Business Model and Operations

Purple Style Labs specializes in curated luxury fashion, with a particular focus on wedding and occasion wear. Its flagship platform, Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, offers designer brands through an extensive omnichannel network. This network includes 12 'Experience Centres' and two back-end offices across India, managed by its subsidiary, PSL Retail, on a leave-and-licence basis.

The company caters to customers both within India and internationally, utilizing its experience centres, a dedicated mobile application and website, telephonic and digital sales channels, and various events and exhibitions.

Investor Backing and Use of Proceeds

The luxury fashion platform has attracted investment from notable figures, including Akash Bhanshali, Madhusudan Kela, and Mukul Mahavir Agrawal. Volrado Venture Partners Fund II, sponsored by Akash Bhanshali, holds a 2.41 percent stake, while Madhusudan Kela-backed Singularity AMC holds 1.6 percent, and Mukul Mahavir Agrawal owns 1.18 percent.

The net proceeds from the IPO are earmarked for several strategic initiatives. A significant portion, Rs 371.1 crore, will be invested in PSL Retail to address lease liabilities for its Experience Centres and back-end offices in India. Additionally, Rs 138.9 crore is allocated for sales and marketing expenses, with the remaining funds designated for general corporate purposes.

Investor Allocation and Lot Size

The IPO structure reserves 75 percent of the offer for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 10 percent for retail investors, and 15 percent for non-institutional investors. Retail investors can bid for a minimum of 26 equity shares, which translates to a minimum investment of Rs 14,950. The maximum investment for retail participants stands at Rs 1,94,350.

Financial Performance Overview

In recent financial years, Purple Style Labs has reported losses and an inconsistent revenue trajectory. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the company posted a net loss of Rs 285.3 crore, an increase from Rs 188.3 crore in the preceding year. Revenue for FY26 saw a 13.9 percent year-on-year rise to Rs 557.8 crore, following a 2.9 percent decline to Rs 489.9 crore in FY25.

Key Managers and Registrar

Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services have been appointed as the book-running lead managers for the Purple Style Labs IPO. Kfin Technologies Ltd. will serve as the official registrar for the issue, managing the application and allotment process.
