Pristine Logistics & Infraprojects, a prominent rail-focused multimodal logistics platform, has taken a significant step towards its potential initial public offering (IPO) by confidentially filing its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) via the pre-filing route.
Established in 2008, Pristine Logistics specializes in providing integrated logistics infrastructure and services for both containerized and non-containerized cargo. Its core operations revolve around long-haul rail transportation, complemented by crucial road-based first- and last-mile connectivity. The company operates a network of logistics terminals strategically located across key domestic and export-import corridors.
Rapid Growth and Expanding Network
Between fiscal years 2023 and 2025, Pristine Logistics asserted itself as one of India's fastest-growing rail-focused multimodal logistics players, measured by revenue from operations and EBITDA CAGR among its industry peers. During this period, the company expanded its operational terminal network from eight to twelve facilities.
This growth was also reflected in its cargo volumes: containerized cargo increased from 402,049 TEUs to 506,447 TEUs, while non-containerized cargo volumes rose from 1.92 million metric tonnes to 2.51 million metric tonnes.
Comprehensive Services and Infrastructure
Pristine Logistics offers a broad spectrum of services including EXIM (Export-Import) and domestic container logistics, dedicated rail transportation, rail bulk transportation, and warehousing solutions. Following its acquisition of Sical Logistics Limited, the company also ventured into mining logistics. Additionally, it provides container maintenance and repair services.
As of December 31, 2025, the company managed an impressive fleet of over 5,000 domestic rail containers and approximately 455 40-foot dwarf containers, specifically designed for transporting lightweight cargo efficiently. Its third-party logistics (3PL) services are supported by a warehousing network spanning about 1.20 million square feet across India, featuring both dedicated and multi-client facilities, alongside dry and temperature-controlled storage options.
Future Expansion and Strategic Projects
Looking ahead, Pristine Logistics is actively developing three new terminals to further enhance its capabilities and reach. These include facilities at Bhurkunda in Jharkhand, Haldia in West Bengal, and Bengaluru in Karnataka.
- The Bhurkunda terminal is designed to handle both containerized cargo and bulk commodities such as coal and iron ore.
- The Haldia facility marks the company's entry into port-based liquid cargo infrastructure, catering to edible oils, chemicals, and other liquid goods.
- The Bengaluru project, situated on approximately 67 acres, is being developed as a rail-linked inland container depot, strategically positioned near major industrial and warehousing hubs.
In addition to these terminal developments, Pristine Logistics has secured a significant long-term overburden excavation and removal contract from South Eastern Coalfields, valued at approximately Rs 3,422 crore (excluding GST), further bolstering its expansion strategy as it progresses with the confidential IPO filing.
