He highlighted immediate government actions against perpetrators of examination fraud, including the establishment of fast-track courts and proposed stringent new legislation. The Centre has turned to Nandan Nilekani, renowned for architecting India's biometric identity program, Aadhaar, and his leadership at Infosys, to spearhead this crucial reform. The newly constituted task force is tasked with a multi-faceted approach:

- Evaluating the seamless integration of secure digital technologies.
- Developing a comprehensive roadmap for leak-proof public examinations across the country.

Beyond the task force, the government is also moving to strengthen statutory frameworks. Proposed amendments to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act aim to introduce more robust measures, including:

- Significantly harsher criminal penalties for organized paper leaks and institutional exam malpractices.
