Indian jewelry retailer PC Jeweller has successfully eliminated all its outstanding debt, a significant financial achievement that has propelled its stock performance. The company announced it had repaid all loans to its 14 consortium banks ahead of their scheduled due dates, marking a complete discharge of its financial obligations.

This accomplishment was made public on September 25, with the firm stating that becoming debt-free would "materially strengthen the company’s balance sheet and financial position." The news has garnered considerable attention in the market, with PC Jeweller shares experiencing a notable rally.

Stock Performance Soars on Debt-Free News

Following the announcement, PC Jeweller's shares have been trading near their 52-week high. On Friday, the stock closed flat at Rs 14.12, but its market capitalization stood at Rs 13,754 crore. The company's shares have shown impressive growth, gaining 64% over the last three months and an overall 52% increase during 2026. The stock reached its 52-week peak of Rs 14.87 just days prior, on September 23.

A substantial volume of 136.58 lakh shares changed hands, translating to a turnover of Rs 19.44 crore, indicating strong investor interest. The company's commitment to financial stability, demonstrated by settling its debts ahead of time, appears to have resonated positively with the market.

Technical Indicators Show Strength

From a technical analysis perspective, PC Jeweller's stock exhibits robust health. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for the stock is currently at 66.6, suggesting it is neither in an overbought nor an oversold territory, indicating a balanced momentum. Furthermore, the stock is trading above its key moving averages, including the 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, 30-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day moving averages, which generally signals a bullish trend.

The successful discharge of debt is expected to provide PC Jeweller with greater financial flexibility and improved standing, potentially paving the way for future growth and expansion without the burden of significant liabilities.
