Netradyne & NHEV Partner for AI Safety in Indian Commercial EVs

· · 2 min read

Netradyne has partnered with National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) to integrate AI-powered safety solutions into commercial electric vehicles across India's e-highways. This collaboration aims to enhance real-time fleet visibility and driver behavior insights.

AI-powered fleet safety start-up Netradyne has announced a strategic partnership with National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) to deploy advanced AI solutions across commercial electric vehicles (EVs) operating on India's e-highways.

This collaboration is designed to embed a critical intelligence and safety layer into the rapidly expanding commercial EV sector. The integration will enable real-time fleet visibility, predictive risk detection, comprehensive driver behavior insights, and continuous operational monitoring for EVs traversing NHEV-supported corridors.

Enhancing Safety and Operational Dependability

Netradyne’s AI platform will provide crucial analytics, offering insights into driver performance and vehicle status, alongside corridor-level operational oversight. This aims to significantly reduce road risks and enhance the reliability of long-haul EV operations.

“Being a part of NHEV’s Electronic Highway initiative reflects the scale at which AI-driven mobility infrastructure is evolving in India. Our role is to provide real-time intelligence that improves driver safety, fleet visibility and operational responsiveness across these e-highways,” stated Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President, EMEA & APAC- Business, Netradyne. “By enabling early detection of driver fatigue, unsafe behaviour and vehicle distress, we can help reduce road risk and make long-haul EV operations safer and more reliable.”

The synergy between NHEV’s integrated highway infrastructure and support architecture, combined with Netradyne’s AI-driven safety intelligence, is poised to make commercial EV operations more dependable. This initiative also aims to build a stronger trust framework for fleet operators and financiers, fostering greater adoption of long-distance EVs through improved safety, increased fleet uptime, enhanced operational visibility, and better asset reliability.
