Fintech company Moneyview made a strong debut on Dalal Street on October 1, 2026, with shares listing at a 64% premium over its issue price. Retail investors who were allotted a single lot saw a profit of Rs 9,530.

Strong Debut for Digital Lender Moneyview

Bengaluru-based fintech firm Moneyview experienced a highly successful market debut on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The company's shares opened at Rs 55.61 on BSE Ltd, marking a significant premium of 63.56% over its initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 34. Similarly, on NSE Ltd, the stock settled at Rs 55, a 61.76% premium, signaling strong investor confidence in the digital financial services provider.

This impressive performance translated into substantial gains for investors. Retail investors who were allotted a single lot of 441 equity shares saw a profit of Rs 9,530 on their initial investment. Non-individual or HNI investors also benefited considerably, realizing a profit of Rs 1,33,420 for 14 lots, comprising 6,174 equity shares.

IPO Details and Investor Enthusiasm

The Moneyview IPO, which was open for bidding from September 24 to September 28, successfully raised Rs 1,092 crore. This total included a fresh share sale worth Rs 750 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 10.05 crore equity shares valued at Rs 342 crore. Shares were offered within a price band of Rs 32-34 apiece, with a lot size of 441 equity shares.

The offering garnered overwhelming demand, with the IPO being subscribed a remarkable 98.46 times overall, attracting bids worth Rs 77,850 crore through 48.55 lakh applications. Qualified institutional bidders (QIBs) showed immense interest, booking their portion 227.45 times, while non-institutional investors' quota was subscribed 115.41 times. The retail portion also saw robust participation, being booked 19.57 times.

Incorporated in 2014, Moneyview operates as a fintech company providing digital financial services through its mobile platform. The company specializes in offering accessible, technology-driven financial solutions, including personal loans, credit tracking, and comprehensive financial management services to individuals across India.

Ahead of its listing, Moneyview shares had been commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of Rs 14-14.5, suggesting a potential listing pop of 41-43%. The actual listing significantly surpassed these expectations. Brokerage firms largely held a positive view on the issue, recommending subscription. Axis Capital, BofA Securities, IIFL Capital Services, and Kotak Mahindra Capital served as the book-running lead managers for the Moneyview IPO, with MUFG Intime India acting as the registrar of the issue.
