Easing the Burden of Competitive Exam Preparation
During his address, PM Modi highlighted the escalating financial strain that private coaching classes place on middle-class and economically disadvantaged families. Recognizing this challenge, he announced a nationwide program to provide free online coaching for various competitive exams, a move set to democratize access to quality preparation resources.
“Coaching classes burden the poor and the middle class. We will provide free online coaching for various exams,” Modi stated, emphasizing the government's commitment to equitable opportunities.
This initiative is expected to significantly benefit aspirants residing in areas where specialized coaching facilities are scarce or unaffordable, ensuring that geographical location or economic status does not hinder their educational pursuits.
AI Skill Training for One Crore Youth
In addition to the free coaching, the Prime Minister announced another ambitious program: training one crore young individuals in artificial intelligence through specialized skill development courses over the next year. Modi stressed the importance of adapting to rapid technological advancements, noting, “This is the era of robotics, AI, quantum technology, space and data centres. Emerging technologies are presenting new challenges, and we must become a global hub of innovation.”
