· · 2 min read

Pankaj Tripathi and Ravi Kishan's 'Mirzapur: The Movie' has earned ₹190.20 crore net in India by its 11th day, with a worldwide gross of ₹273.64 crore. It is poised to surpass Ajay Devgn's 'Dhamaal 4' in domestic gross.

The gangster drama 'Mirzapur: The Movie', starring Pankaj Tripathi and Ravi Kishan, is rapidly approaching the ₹200 crore net milestone at the Indian box office. Driven by consistent weekday collections and strong audience turnout in Hindi-speaking regions, the film has sustained its momentum since its release, expanding the popular Prime Video India series onto the big screen. By its eleventh day, the movie is set to overtake Ajay Devgn's 'Dhamaal 4' among the top Hindi grossers of 2026.

As of Day 11, 'Mirzapur: The Movie' recorded an India net collection of ₹190.20 crore. This figure places it just shy of 'Dhamaal 4's lifetime domestic gross of approximately ₹192.60 crore. 'Dhamaal 4' concluded its theatrical run with an India net of around ₹160.50 crore.

Strong Opening and Steady Weekday Performance

The film had a robust opening week, accumulating ₹148.45 crore net and ₹176.94 crore gross in its first seven days, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. Its strong performance continued into the second week:

  • Day 8: ₹11.30 crore
  • Day 9: ₹16.20 crore
  • Day 10: ₹15.70 crore

Cumulatively, these three days added ₹43.20 crore to its India net collection. On Day 11 (its second Monday), 'Mirzapur: The Movie' garnered an additional ₹5.50 crore net from 7,014 shows across India. This pushed its total domestic gross to ₹226.64 crore. Internationally, the film added ₹1 crore on Day 11, bringing its overseas gross to ₹47 crore and its global total to ₹273.64 crore.

Significance of IP-Led Storytelling

The impressive theatrical run of 'Mirzapur: The Movie', a spin-off from a successful streaming franchise, highlights the power of intellectual property (IP)-driven storytelling in Hindi cinema. The film's success is further bolstered by its ensemble cast and familiar world-building, resonating strongly with audiences. With collections still maintaining double digits on weekdays, the film is well-positioned to climb higher on the 2026 Hindi box office leaderboard if its current momentum persists through the second weekend.

While 'Mirzapur: The Movie' has neared ₹200 crore in domestic gross within 11 days, other films like 'Hanuman Ansh' have taken a different path to success. The devotional drama, reportedly made on a modest budget of ₹2 crore, has also surpassed the ₹200 crore mark in India and continues to add to its worldwide collection, which stands at approximately ₹280 crore in its sixth week.
