Actor Manoj Bajpayee Expands Maharashtra Real Estate

Acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee has made a significant addition to his real estate holdings, acquiring a 1.80-hectare (approximately 4.45 acres) agricultural land parcel in Mulshi taluka, situated near the popular hill station of Lonavala. The transaction for the land, located in Tailbail village within Pune district, was officially registered on August 25, 2026, for a total consideration of ₹1.37 crore.

According to property registration documents, Bajpayee paid ₹6.86 lakh in stamp duty and an additional ₹30,000 as a registration fee to finalize the purchase. The agricultural land was bought from seller Vimalchand Khimraj Jain. Both parties were unavailable for comment at the time of reporting.

A Growing Property Portfolio

This latest acquisition further diversifies Bajpayee's property portfolio, which has seen considerable growth. The veteran actor, known for his critically acclaimed roles in films like Satya and Gangs of Wasseypur, and his popular streaming series The Family Man, previously ventured into commercial real estate.

In October 2023, Bajpayee acquired four office units in Mumbai's Oshiwara area, a deal valued at a combined ₹32 crore. Registered on October 4, 2023, these units in the Signature Building off Veera Desai Road incurred a stamp duty payment of ₹1.86 crore, placing him among other Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol, and Ajay Devgn who have invested in commercial properties.

Mulshi: A Preferred Investment Destination

The Mulshi region, framed by the Mulshi Dam and its proximity to Lonavala, has steadily emerged as a highly sought-after location for agricultural plots, second homes, and weekend retreats. Its appeal is driven by low-density surroundings and convenient access from both Mumbai and Pune, attracting a mix of investors and end-users. Manoj Bajpayee's recent land purchase underscores the area's growing prominence in the real estate market.
