Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a comprehensive update for its popular Scorpio-N SUV, integrating a host of new features aimed at enhancing comfort, safety, and technology. The refreshed Scorpio-N lineup, with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹13.69 lakh, now includes a panoramic sunroof and advanced driver assistance systems, with prices extending up to ₹25.49 lakh for the top-tier variant.
These feature enhancements are being introduced across the Scorpio-N range, with specific equipment varying by variant. The updates come as the premium SUV continues its strong sales performance, having surpassed 3.8 lakh units sold since its initial launch in 2022.
Key New Features Across Variants
- Panoramic Sunroof: A prominent addition, particularly for higher-end variants, offering an open-air experience.
- 540-Degree Surround-View System: Coupled with a blind-view monitor for enhanced situational awareness during driving and parking.
- Larger Infotainment: A new 31.24-cm floating HD touchscreen infotainment system.
- Digital Instrument Cluster: A 26.03-cm fully digital display for key driving information.
- Updated Alloy Wheels: Newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels for select variants.
- Fast Charging: A 65W USB Type-C fast charger for the front row, with charging ports in both rows for some variants.
- Adventure Statistics: A display providing data such as engine performance, roll and pitch angles, compass, altimeter, and G-force.
Variant-Specific Enhancements
The top-spec Z8L variant now boasts the panoramic skyroof and the 540-degree surround-view camera system, alongside its existing Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The Z8T variant benefits from the newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Z8S variant receives the larger HD touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, Adventure Statistics display, and 65W USB-C charging ports for both rows, among other connectivity and safety improvements.
Continued Powertrain Options
The Scorpio-N retains its well-regarded engine options: the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mStallion and the 2.2-litre diesel mHawk engines. Customers will continue to have the flexibility to choose between rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, depending on their selected variant.
Since its introduction, the Scorpio-N has been a cornerstone of Mahindra's SUV portfolio. The company has consistently updated the model, including the launch of the Z8 Select variant in 2024 and the Z8T in 2025, along with the integration of Level 2 ADAS, to maintain its competitive edge in the premium SUV segment.
