LIC Housing Finance Declares ₹10 Dividend; Record Date Set for August 21, 2026

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has announced a final dividend of ₹10 per share for FY26. The record date to determine eligible shareholders is Friday, August 21, 2026, with payment scheduled between September 17 and September 27.

LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LICHFL) has declared a final equity dividend of ₹10 per share for the financial year 2025-26, representing a 500 percent payout based on the equity shares' face value of ₹2 each. This significant corporate action will benefit eligible shareholders, with the record date set for Friday, August 21, 2026.

Key Dates for Shareholders

To be eligible for the dividend, investors must purchase LICHFL shares at least one trading day before the record date, adhering to the T+1 settlement cycle. This means Thursday, August 20, 2026, is the last opportunity for investors to acquire shares and qualify for the dividend.

The proposed dividend is subject to approval at the company's 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is scheduled for August 28, 2026. If approved, the dividend will be disbursed to eligible shareholders on or after September 17, 2026, and before September 27, 2026, after the deduction of applicable tax at source (TDS).

Shareholders are also advised to submit any necessary documents to determine their applicable TDS rate by the deadline of August 25, 2026.

First Quarter FY27 Financial Performance

LICHFL recently reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, ending June 30, 2026. The company saw a 9.9 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit, reaching ₹1,499 crore compared to ₹1,364 crore in the same period last year.

Net interest income (NII) also experienced a modest rise of 0.6 percent, moving from ₹2,075 crore to ₹2,087 crore. However, total revenue from operations for the quarter decreased by 1.4 percent, settling at ₹7,082.59 crore, down from ₹7,186.34 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Stock Performance

On Thursday's trading session, shares of LIC Housing Finance were trading 2.11 percent higher at ₹509. Despite this recent uptick, the stock has seen a decline of 12.26 percent over the past year.
