Lenskart Shares Soar to Record High on Strong Q1 FY27 Earnings, Analysts Bullish

Lenskart Solutions shares surged 6.96% to a record Rs 627.35 on Thursday, August 13, 2026, after the eyewear retailer reported a 269% jump in Q1 FY27 net profit. Analysts maintain 'Buy' ratings, citing robust financial performance and store expansion.

Shares of Lenskart Solutions Ltd. achieved an all-time high of Rs 627.35 in Thursday's trading session, climbing 6.96 percent. The significant surge follows the eyewear retailer's robust financial performance for the June quarter (Q1 FY27), which has also garnered positive attention from numerous brokerage firms.

Strong Q1 FY27 Performance Fuels Growth

Lenskart Solutions reported an impressive 269.24 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit attributable to owners, reaching Rs 221.84 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 60.08 crore in the prior-year quarter. Operational revenue also saw a substantial rise of 43.26 percent YoY, hitting Rs 2,714.18 crore compared to Rs 1,894.46 crore in Q1 FY26.

The company's EBITDA grew by 61.3 percent YoY to Rs 589 crore. Furthermore, the profit after tax (PAT) margin expanded significantly to 8.4 percent in Q1 FY27 from 4 percent a year earlier, representing an improvement of 443 basis points.

Lenskart's active Gold membership base reached 93.5 lakh during the quarter, with Gold subscription fees increasing by 57.4 percent YoY to Rs 66 crore. The company also continued its expansion, adding 132 net new stores in Q1 FY27, bringing its total active store count to 3,459. Of these, 116 new stores were in India, including 83 in Tier 2-plus cities, marking entry into 50 new cities. Internationally, Lenskart added 16 net new stores, increasing its global presence to 734 stores.

International Business Growth

The international segment contributed significantly, with revenue increasing by 38 percent YoY to Rs 1,203 crore in Q1 FY27. On a constant-currency basis, growth stood at approximately 29 percent YoY. The company noted broad-based growth across key markets including Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, with favorable currency movements further boosting the segment's performance.

Analyst Outlook and Technical View

Bloomberg data indicates that 10 out of 20 analysts covering Lenskart Solutions currently hold a 'Buy' rating on the stock. Prominent firms such as UBS, Axis Capital, Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, and Motilal Oswal Financial Services are among those recommending a 'Buy'. Price targets from these brokerages range from Rs 585 to Rs 800, reflecting strong confidence in the company's future prospects.

Mayank Jain, a Market Analyst at Share.Market by PhonePe, observed that Lenskart's daily charts exhibit a sustained uptrend, characterized by higher highs and higher lows. He highlighted that the stock is trading above its key short- and medium-term moving averages, with the 20-day simple moving average (SMA) at Rs 565.83 and the 50-day SMA at Rs 537.75.

"Existing shareholders benefit from an overarching trend that remains firmly intact, with price action continuing to hold strong above key short- and medium-term moving averages," Jain stated.

Jain advised investors considering fresh positions to look for pullbacks towards immediate support zones around the short-term moving average levels, rather than chasing sharp rallies.
