Inox Wind Ltd. announced a substantial repeat order from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC) for a 100 MW turnkey wind power project, valued at approximately ₹755 crore. This strategic contract reinforces Inox Wind's position in India's burgeoning renewable energy sector.
Project Scope and Services
The comprehensive order mandates Inox Wind to handle the entire project lifecycle. This includes the supply of state-of-the-art wind turbine generators, complete engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, and thorough project execution. Furthermore, Inox Wind will provide post-commissioning operations and maintenance (O&M) services, ensuring the long-term efficiency and reliability of the wind farm.
Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of the Renewables business at INOXGFL Group, highlighted the significance of this repeat order. “This repeat order is a testament to the confidence that leading institutional customers place in our integrated capabilities and execution track record,” Tarachandani stated. He emphasized the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive solutions across the wind project lifecycle, positioning it to support customers in their transition towards cleaner energy sources.
Contribution to India's Clean Energy Goals
India's renewable energy transition is creating significant opportunities, particularly for wind power. Large enterprises and public sector organizations are actively seeking reliable partners for efficient and accountable project delivery. Inox Wind, part of the $16 billion INOXGFL Group, operates as a fully integrated wind energy player with manufacturing facilities across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh, boasting an annual manufacturing capacity of 2.5 GW.
Tarachandani further added, “We are committed to leveraging our technology, manufacturing and execution capabilities to deliver high-quality projects while contributing meaningfully to India’s clean energy ambitions.”
Market Context
While the new order signals strong business momentum, Inox Wind's shares have seen a decline of 42.82 percent in 2026 so far. Analysts are closely monitoring the company’s ability to meet its revenue growth guidance for FY27, particularly tracking the trajectory of new order inflows, especially from third parties, and the pace of execution ramp-up.
