Indo-MIM IPO Opens July 23: Price Band, Key Dates, and Rs 3,800 Crore Issue Details

Bengaluru-based precision engineering firm Indo-MIM's Rs 3,800 crore initial public offering opens for subscription on July 23, with shares priced between Rs 461-485. The issue combines a fresh issue of Rs 500 crore and a significant offer for sale.

Indo-MIM, a leading manufacturer of precision engineering components utilizing metal injection moulding technology, is set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) on July 23. The Bengaluru-headquartered company has fixed the price band for its shares at Rs 461-485, aiming to raise Rs 3,800 crore through the market.

Key Dates for Indo-MIM IPO

The subscription window for the Indo-MIM IPO will open on July 23 and close on July 27. Anchor investors, typically large institutional buyers, will have their bidding commence a day earlier, on July 22. Following the closure, the basis of allotment is scheduled for July 28, with refunds processed and equity shares credited to demat accounts by July 29. The company anticipates its shares will be listed on both the BSE and NSE on July 30.

Issue Structure and Proceeds Utilization

The Rs 3,800 crore IPO comprises two main components: a fresh issue of Rs 500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to Rs 3,312 crore by existing shareholders and promoters. Notably, the fresh issue size was previously reduced from Rs 1,000 crore. Proceeds from the fresh issue are earmarked primarily for debt reduction, with Rs 400 crore allocated for repaying borrowings. The remaining funds will be utilized for general corporate purposes. As of May 2026, Indo-MIM's consolidated outstanding borrowings stood at Rs 1,212.3 crore.

Company Profile and Financial Performance

Indo-MIM operates 15 manufacturing facilities across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Mexico. The company asserts its position as the world’s largest manufacturer of precision engineering components using metal injection moulding technology, holding a 6.8 percent global market share. It serves a diverse range of sectors, including automotive, defence, medical, consumer, and aerospace, offering over 9,000 different product types.

Financially, Indo-MIM reported strong growth in fiscal 2026, with profit rising 26 percent year-on-year to Rs 533.5 crore. Revenue also saw a 26 percent increase, reaching Rs 4,193 crore during the same period. At the upper end of the IPO price band, Indo-MIM is projected to command a post-listing market capitalization of approximately Rs 23,981.4 crore.

Merchant Bankers and Registrar

The IPO is being managed by a consortium of prominent merchant bankers, including HDFC Bank, Axis Capital, ICICI Securities, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, and SBI Capital Markets. MUFG Intime has been appointed as the registrar for the issue.
