Three Companies Make Stock Market Debuts

Tuesday marks the highly anticipated stock market debut for three companies that recently completed their Initial Public Offerings (IPOs):

  • Symbiotec Pharmalab: The pharmaceutical firm raised Rs 1,757 crore from its IPO, which was open from August 24-27. Shares were priced at Rs 988 apiece, with the offering oversubscribed more than 75 times.
  • Skyways Air Services: This logistics and freight solutions provider garnered Rs 583 crore from its primary offering. Shares were sold at Rs 138 each, and the IPO, also open from August 24-27, saw a subscription rate of nearly 71.25 times.
  • Hy-Tech Engineers: The hydraulic fittings specialist successfully raised Rs 136 crore. Its shares were offered at Rs 53 apiece, and the IPO, conducted between August 24-27, was significantly oversubscribed by a remarkable 247.39 times.

EPL: Blackstone Plans Significant Stake Sale

Media reports suggest that Blackstone-owned Epsilon Bidco, a promoter of the packaging company EPL, is preparing to sell up to a 26.38 percent stake. This block deal is estimated to be worth Rs 1,985 crore, with an offer price of Rs 235 per share, according to sources.

Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ): GRT Jewellers to Acquire Majority Stake

GRT Jewellers India has formalized a share purchase agreement to acquire a 74.12 percent stake in Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) from its promoters. The deal is valued at up to Rs 1,033.71 crore. Following this, GRT Jewellers will also launch an open offer for an additional 26 percent stake in TBZ.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: Internal Candidates for CEO Role

The private sector lender, Kotak Mahindra Bank, has reportedly recommended two internal candidates to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for approval to succeed current Chief Executive Officer Ashok Vaswani. Executive Directors Anup Saha and Paritosh Kashyap are the proposed successors, as per media sources.

Cipla: Strategic Licensing Deal for HER2 ADC

Pharmaceutical major Cipla has entered into an exclusive licensing and supply agreement with Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group (CTTQ), a subsidiary of Sino Biopharmaceutical. The agreement pertains to Rolditamig Deuderuxtecan (TQB2102), a promising HER2 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC).

Financial Performance and Shareholder Initiatives

Milky Mist Dairy Food: Strong Q2 Earnings Growth

The recently listed packaged food company, Milky Mist Dairy Food, reported an exceptional performance for the June 2026 quarter. Its net profit surged by 890 percent year-over-year (YoY) to Rs 64.68 crore, while revenue increased 43.6 percent YoY to Rs 973.45 crore. EBITDA also saw a significant rise to Rs 144.89 crore, with margins improving to 14.88 percent.

PVR Inox: Board Approves Share Buyback

The board of media and entertainment giant PVR Inox has given its nod to a proposal for a share buyback. The company plans to repurchase up to 20.69 lakh equity shares, amounting to Rs 300 crore, at a price of Rs 1,450 per share.
