Tata Group Reorganization

  • Tata Group Stocks: Tata Trusts, holding a 66 percent stake in Tata Sons, has proposed merging Tata Electronics Systems Solutions (TESS) and Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) with Tata Sons. This strategic move aims to remove Tata Sons from the regulatory frameworks applicable to non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and core investment companies.

Stake Sales and Acquisitions

  • Honasa Consumer: Media reports suggest that Peak XV Partners Investments VI, Sequoia Capital Global Growth Fund III, and Redwood Trust are planning to sell a combined 2.73 percent stake in the personal care company. The offer size is estimated at Rs 400 crore, with a floor price of Rs 450 per share.

The NCDs were structured across five series with maturities ranging from 2 to 10 years and coupon rates from 8.25 percent to 8.76 percent.
  • Power Mech Projects: The realty and EPC player secured a Rs 279 crore order from Telangana Power Generation Corporation for comprehensive operation and maintenance work at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS) for a period of three years.
