Hindustan Copper to Announce Q4 Results, Dividend Today After 155% Return

Hindustan Copper Ltd. will release its Q4 FY2025-26 results and consider a final dividend today. The stock has delivered a 155% return over the past year, though shares saw a dip in early Friday trading.

Hindustan Copper Ltd. (HCL) is scheduled to announce its financial results for the fourth quarter and the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, today, Friday, May 15, 2026. Investors are also keenly awaiting a decision on the recommendation for a final dividend payout for the fiscal year.

Despite a 4.77% decline in early Friday trade, with shares trading at Rs 577.60 apiece on the BSE, Hindustan Copper has proven to be a significant wealth creator for its shareholders. Over the past year, the stock has delivered a remarkable multibagger return of approximately 155%.

Q4 Results and Dividend Announcement Details

While the exact timing of the earnings release following the board meeting has not been disclosed, market participants anticipate the announcement might occur in late market hours, consistent with the company's previous quarterly disclosures. The board's agenda includes the approval of the financial results and a recommendation for shareholder approval of the final dividend for FY2025-26.

HCL has a history of rewarding its shareholders. The company recently distributed an interim dividend of Re 1 on February 13, 2026. Prior to that, a final dividend of Rs 1.46 was paid on September 18, 2025, following Rs 0.92 per share distributed in September 2024 and September 2023.

Fundraising Initiatives and Production Highlights

Beyond the quarterly earnings and dividends, the company's regulatory filing also indicated significant fundraising plans. The board will consider a recommendation to seek shareholder approval for raising funds through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) method, involving the issue of up to 9,69,76,680 equity shares.

Additionally, directors will propose offering and allotting secured or unsecured non-convertible debentures or bonds on a private placement basis, aiming to raise up to Rs 500 crore.

Operationally, FY2025-26 was a strong year for Hindustan Copper. The company achieved a metal-in-concentrate (MIC) production of 27,421 tonnes, representing a 9% increase from the previous fiscal year and marking its highest production level in seven years. Ore production also saw a 6% year-on-year rise, reaching 3.67 million tonnes. Copper MIC sales for the period stood at 27,367 tonnes, further contributing to the company's positive momentum.
